Snowing in Washington. Ah, Spring.

I see Lisa has already beaten me to discussing today's weather, but I thought I'd make my own contribution.



My favorite part is the seagull going across the sky, but the YouTube converter does a bad job of encoding it and you can't really see it.

I was telling a coworker--People in Utah always seem to think they have a monopoly on fluctuating Spring weather, but I think that's just the nature of Spring. Hot one day, snowing the next. Even in Washington.

What is with the weather lately?

I took this picture outside my apartment today. Not even one week since out bike ride in 80 degree weather! What is going on? Will we ever see spring?

Can anyone make sense of this sign? I've seen it in several Target's including some in Utah and Washington. I snapped this pic at the Target on Everett Mall Way. I'm still confused every time I see it.

First Bike Ride of the Season

I have once again determined to ride the STP(Seattle to Portland) bike race this year and convinced Nick to ride along with me. Unfortunately this takes some training. Yesterday was such a beautiful day, we thought we should take advantage of the nice weather and the time off work to go for a ride. We left Nick's house and went down Bothell-Everett Highway all the way to the end where it meets up with the Sammamish River Trail. Its a beautiful trail that follows along the Sammamish River toward Redmond. We went a total of 40 miles. Here are a few pictures of our day.
