This Saturday my parents came over and helped us move the new furniture into the nursery. Its still just furniture in there, no decorations, but still a huge step. We feel much more prepared now that it doesn't look like an office/storage unit. Here are some pics of the days evolution and the semi-finished room.
Love this first shot, starting out great...with the box totally upside down. :)
Unpacking the crib.
My dad once told me the secret of how he can always put things together correctly. He says "I read the directions."
Putting the crib together.
Supervising.
The finishing touch.
My mom was the photographer for the day and also helped clean up after us after each piece.
Moving in the dresser.
Unpacking and moving the changing table in.
Starting on the rocker/glider.
I never realized how much worded instructions help. This had only pictures and it may it way more complicated.
All finished.
This may not be the official placement of the furniture but for now it seems to work out the best. Thanks Mom and Dad for your help!
